Product Description:
Gobayer inorganic zinc silicate paint is a self-drying, fast-drying water-based heavy anti-corrosion new material protective paint produced using a new inorganic lithium silicate hybrid core-shell acrylic technology. It is mainly composed of inorganic silicon hybrid core-shell acrylic emulsion, water-based inorganic silicon adjuvant, nano silicon dioxide rust-proof pigment and water. After curing, this product can form a high-performance water-resistant, rust-proof, acid and alkali corrosion-resistant coating. Its early water resistance, boiling water resistance, and salt spray resistance are 5-10 times that of epoxy zinc-rich paint, and it can be widely used in heavy anti-corrosion and rusty coating of steel structure substrates.

Application Range:
This product has a complete supporting system, which can be used as a single primer for rust prevention, or as a combined primer and topcoat for anti-corrosion. It can be self-drying or baked in a single component, or it can be used as a two-component system with an isocyanate curing agent at a ratio of 10:1 to 2:1. It is mainly suitable for steel structure substrates such as marine equipment, ships, bridges, automobiles, rail transit, petrochemical facilities, oil storage tanks, engineering machinery, and other metal heavy anti-corrosion fields.
Construction Process:
- Substrate treatment: After cleaning the surface of the substrate to remove loose rust and oil, it can be coated with water, oil, and rust;
- Diluent: Clean tap water;
- Dilution ratio: Water-based paint is easy to spray, so the spraying viscosity is slightly higher than that of oil-based paint. The amount of water added should be based on the construction viscosity, and should be adjusted according to the specific construction conditions, environment, temperature, humidity, surface condition of the sprayed substrate, spraying technique of the construction personnel, and the diameter of the spray gun nozzle. For air spraying, it is recommended to add 5-10% water, and the recommended construction viscosity is 50-70s. After adding water, stir thoroughly before use; if spraying is not smooth, add water appropriately to reduce the viscosity. If sagging occurs, add the original paint appropriately to increase the viscosity.
- Coating method: Roller coating, brush coating, dip coating, air spraying, high-pressure airless spraying. Film thickness of one coat is 40-60um, and the film thickness of zinc silicate fast-drying paint is 80-180um.
- Drying conditions: Air drying at room temperature or high-temperature baking (120-180℃×20-30min)
Other Notes:
- The substrate needs to be cleaned of loose rust and oil. Spray with matching iron oxide red primer, and after the primer is dry, spray the topcoat. After spraying and drying, adjust the surface after 7 days before putting it into the experiment. The test plate should be placed in a dry and ventilated environment to facilitate film curing.
- Stir well before use. After spraying, wait for the surface to dry before baking to prevent blistering of the film. It is best to place it in an environment with a temperature above 15℃ for surface drying. Although it can also form a film at around zero degrees, higher temperatures can shorten the crosslinking and curing time of the film, allowing the film to quickly reach its optimal performance.
- The remaining paint should be sealed and stored promptly after use to prevent skinning and affect its use.
- Filter with 120-mesh silk cloth before spraying.
Packaging and Storage:
Packaging Specifications: 20kg/barrel; 25kg/barrel; 250kg/barrel;
Storage Conditions: 5-40℃, sealed and stored in a cool place.
Storage Time: The shelf life is eighteen months from the date of production. Products that have exceeded the shelf life can be used continuously after inspection and confirmation if they are qualified.
