Product Description:

Gobayer single-component, water-based, heavy-duty anti-corrosion inorganic silicone-acrylic rust-proof paint is a self-drying steel structure protective paint produced using new inorganic silicone hybrid core-shell acrylic environmentally friendly materials and technologies. It is mainly composed of inorganic silicone hybrid core-shell acrylic emulsion, water-based auxiliaries, various rust-proof pigments, and water. After curing, this product can form a high-performance water-resistant, rust-proof, and acid-alkali corrosion-resistant coating, which can be widely used in the rust prevention and anti-corrosion coating of steel structure substrates.

Application Range:

This product has a complete supporting system and can be used as a single primer for rust prevention, or as a combined primer and topcoat for anti-corrosion; it is mainly suitable for steel structure substrates, such as color steel tiles, engineering machinery, climbing frames, towers, pipe racks, and other metal light anti-corrosion fields.

 

Construction Process:

  • Substrate treatment: After cleaning the surface of the substrate to remove loose rust and oil, it can be coated with water, oil, and rust;
  • Diluent: Clean tap water;
  • Dilution ratio: Water-based paint is easy to dispense during spraying, so the spraying viscosity is slightly higher than that of oil-based paint spraying. The amount of water added should be based on the construction viscosity. Adjust the appropriate construction viscosity according to the specific construction conditions, environment, temperature, humidity, sprayed substrate surface conditions, spraying techniques of construction personnel, and spray gun nozzle diameter. For air spraying, it is recommended to add 5-10% water, and the recommended construction viscosity is 50-70s. After adding water, stir thoroughly before use; if spraying is not smooth, you can add water appropriately to reduce the viscosity. If there is sagging, you can appropriately add the original paint to increase the viscosity.
  • Coating method: Roll coating, brush coating, dip coating, or air spraying, high-pressure airless spraying, film thickness of one coat is 40-60μm, primer film thickness is 60-120μm, topcoat film thickness is 60-80μm.
  • Drying conditions: Natural drying at room temperature or low-temperature drying (70-90℃×20-30min)

 

Other Precautions:

  1. The substrate needs to be cleaned of loose rust and oil. Spray with matching iron oxide red primer, and after the primer is dry, spray the topcoat. After spraying and drying, adjust the surface for 7 days before putting it into the experiment. The test panel placement environment should be kept dry and ventilated to facilitate film curing.
  2. Stir well before use. After spraying, it needs to be air-dried before baking to prevent the film from blistering. It is best to place it in an environment with a temperature greater than 15℃ for surface drying. Although it can also form a film at around zero degrees, higher temperatures can shorten the crosslinking and curing time of the film, allowing the film to quickly reach its optimal performance.
  3. The remaining paint should be sealed and stored promptly after use to prevent skinning and affect its use.
  4. Filter with 120-mesh silk cloth before spraying.

 

Packaging and Storage:

Packaging Specifications: 20kg/barrel; 25kg/barrel; 250kg/barrel; 1000kg/barrel

Storage Conditions: 5-40℃, sealed and stored in a cool place.

Storage Time: The effective storage period is eighteen months from the date of production. Products that have exceeded the shelf life can be used continuously after inspection and confirmation if they are qualified.
